Fascinating to read your descriptions of memory. I had noticed but not thought deeply about the way things can fade inexplicably and then spring back out of nowhere, or how events that "can't possibly be forgotten" can suddenly be hazy and unclear. Also the way that all the senses can unexpectedly get in on the act.

I think as time goes on, you'll find more and more value in the way you've created a written record.
