First thought on reading this was to think best thing he could do for you would be to Fuck Off himself, though it doesn't seem your best interests are his top priority and I concede you might have practical need of him, but then you've performed miracles of recovery this far and there have to be better carers out there while you still need them.

Don't leave it too late. It worried me to read that he'd "stopped taking his schizophrenia meds" - not that I know anything at all about the severity of his condition or how it manifests, but don't let yourself be in danger.
