From the outside observer pov and obvs not having a complete picture, the overall vibe is in the right direction. I feel for Ben, those long hours of nothing to do - no reading or radio or anything? And I guess being starved and not taking meds likely does all sorts to his blood sugar levels which could well explain some of the tetchiness - I should say 'kvetching' - great word, never heard that one before.
