Good to read of things looking up. It's all still a roller coaster but a relief when the 'downs' start to even out and stop overpowering the highs. I can so relate to the walking thing. I like to stride out, but neither the spouse nor the Caped Crusader are fast walkers these days. With the Caped Crusader I just resign myself to a leisurely stop-start stroll. With the spouse, I walk at my speed, he walks at his. Thus, I surge ahead (unlike the CC, I don't have to keep him on a lead) and we've settled into talking fairly solitary walks together.
