I did a google search on "WHAT IS TRACK1099.COM" - in amongst the results I got several scam warnings. I haven't as yet chased up any of the links in detail but checked out a scam detector website. The consensus seems to be that it's a legit company but beware it being used to scam you, as in the way that Amazon etc get used in scams.

I would want independent verification that I actually needed the tax form they are suggesting I need before I went anywhere near it. I don't recall seeing it in any of the various 'how it works on medium' help pages / videos / posts that I've read.

I deleted the email but will be on the look out for some definitive info on it.
