I have an agreement with a colleague who is prone to sending long texts and who frets if no reply is forthcoming. If I'm busy and can't tackle it right away, I just reply 'Ping'.

It works well, but there have been unexpected consequences when one time, I 'pinged' the wrong message without realising and ended up with 12 new hens, but that's another story.
