I hope you are allowed and soon, it sounds as though it could do you a lot of good. I have a friend whose life was made hugely easier when she had access to oxygen at home. Probably different medical issues but if oxygen helps, then I can't think why it couldn't be on hand.
Well... I do know of one reason but I very much doubt it applies in your case. I had a friend who was offered home oxygen but refused it as (on safety grounds) it would only be allowed if she gave up smoking. She chose the cigarettes. She was a lifelong smoker and in her 90s at the time, so... her choice.
