I hope you'll have brought many more on board - people don't always say but you'll have planted seeds.

I don't think all jails are private, but there are certainly a lot of dreadful private jails that make more money the more people they have in there - no incentive for rehabilitation or getting people out, and every incentive to cut costs, leading to awful stories of abuse and neglect. A year or so ago a woman died of heatstroke after being locked in some sort of cage without water on a hot day in one of the southern states.
