I think I probably don't have a clue how the algorithm works and anytime I think I've got it, they change it, so I just kinda let it do its own thing in the background, but that wasn't actually what I meant to comment on.

The YouTube thing OMD Yes! It's awful. I actually like YouTube (I hesitated over that 'like' and whether to add a 'd' - benefit of doubt for now). It all feels like that echo chamber one-size-fits-all way of doing things that I really really don't like.

So far, Medium isn't doing that to me. I've not been around for long, just a few months, but a cautious thumbs up. Thanks for a thought-provoking article.
