Interesting observation. When I saw the picture in the other post, I got a particular vibe from it - not British coast in general - I live on a bit of coast that looks nothing like this - but south coast in particular. I assumed it was looking out over the channel. I have family in Sussex so know how nice that coast is but I'm guessing this is further west. The vibe is familiar but the place is not.
