It is truly chilling to see how detached that particular bunch has become from reality. That clown lost them the House, the Senate and the White House and still they follow him; he has the blood of half a million unnecessary deaths on his hands, and has failed in every enterprise he's ever taken on. Still they cheer him!

More scary to me is the tsunami of proposed legislation pouring out of Republican governed states that is designed, blatantly, to suppress non-Republican votes. I take some comfort from the way the Republican party is losing members but the danger is still very present.

Your analysis is spot on, Caren. I also thought it telling that there was nothing said about covid relief, the minimum wage or infrastructure i.e. zero discussion about things that American people are currently very interested in. I wonder how further divorced from reality these people can get.
