It's a great article.

But the pedant in me has to mention this one. Aerodynamically, the bumblebee *should* be able to fly - and indeed can. Though if If you try to prove that it flies like a plane, then you'll show that it can't. This is also true of a helicopter which also doesn't aerodynamically fly like a plane.

I'm wary of the oft-quoted bumblebee thing because I've seen it used to attack science generally (as in the world is flat, noone landed on the moon, and don't get vaccinated) - though I appreciate this is totally not what you're doing.

But yes, great article. Honesty is the thing.
