I've not heard the Sonia Choquette quote before, but that's a good way of putting it. Along with the Joyce Brother quote, they are a neat What-&-Why. It makes sense that as you age, your intuitions get stronger - you both recognise them for what they are and experience will have taught you how reliable they are.
