Really interesting read. I've found it fascinating (and surprising) how many people are uneasy about other people being happy to be on their own. The covid lockdowns highlighted it. People urging others to 'get out', 'have a break' etc, and being very obviously sceptical of anyone saying that they're fine being alone. Personally, I love to have a rock solid excuse to stay home. I've never spent so long without external commitments and I love that home has stopped feeling like somewhere I visit between trips.
