Thanks, pd. I've never known this happen before, but they have become a real showstopper duo. It's lovely to see battery hens learn to act as nature intended. I've long called them mini dinosaurs, a biologically iffy practice, but they are, after all, distant descendants of the flying dinosaurs that survived the meteor strike.
