That was a good analogy about the inexperienced driver and first time in a Porsche. Makes perfect sense. I hadn't thought about it like that, though I'm aware that parachutes are extremely reliable these days. My dad was a paratrooper in WW2 so we grew up on stories of scary landings - even back then, the danger was rarely from the chute.
