That was an interesting read. I've known a number of Canadians over the years - mostly I've known them because they emigrated to Europe - but I also know a few who still live in Canada, and a couple who lived in Europe for years and then went back. Thinking about it as I read your article, it was those who had lived in the more remote areas who were the least keen to go back. I'm surmising there's a huge gap between city living and rural, bigger than in much smaller countries.
