The Little House on the Prairie series was amazing in a lot of ways, but here's a fun fact that I didn't know until relatively recently. The books were at least partly written by Laura Ingall Wilder's daughter, Rose Wilder Lane, and probably largely written by her, but her role was never acknowledged at the time. Rose was a talented and award-winning writer. Their mother-daughter relationship was complicated to say the least.
