The clapping thing bugged me since I started. I even wrote an article about back in the day. I don't know if it counts for anything, but if I'm entertained I'll put my finger or mouse on the clap button while I browse whatever caught my eye - often it goes to 50, sometimes I'm distracted and it goes arbitrary. Sometimes on the damned app, I've been sitting on the damned button for ages and it only does one clap so, same as you, I leave it there. Clapping my way to RSI is not what I'm here for. I'm kinda with Raine Lore, we're not grading papers here, who's to say what's worth 17 against 24. We'll be into half claps next. One thing that really intrigues me, tho, people who seem to be very structured in their clapping habits - what does it mean when they put 19 or 22 or whatever - when it's not an accident, when it's clearly meant. Do they keep a wall chart? I envisage a wall chart.
