The ladies of a certain age running hot made me smile.

I've not had to do a journey of more than a few hours in a mask but I just think about the surgeons who go 12+ hours in full PPE and try to be thankful that I can doze and not worry about maintaining concentration on complex surgery.

Yours was more of an odyssey than a simple journey.
