UK Authors’ Income Is Under Attack

The Authors’ Licensing and Collecting Society (ALCS) has joined a campaign protesting some of the provisions in a proposed new law that could limit UK authors’ ability to earn from their copyright works, particularly in regard to foreign sales.

Writers are asked to visit the WritersWrite website and use the information to email their MPs alerting them to the risks to authors’ incomes.

They also ask for writers to sign this OPEN LETTER to the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
