What a nightmare. I'm glad you found some solutions. It's a minefield of an area. I worked in writers' rights / copyright for over a decade. There were always problems even in the offline world, but they exploded online, and it is still pretty Wild West in the online world, but there are people working to get things on track, and it's always useful when people go public with their experiences and solutions, so thank you for doing so.
