I was also heartened at the immediate outcry to Santorum's comments (https://news.yahoo.com/indigenous-groups-join-calls-cnn-234556542.html) There was a time no one would have said anything. Maybe a small step along the road to a world where no decent human being would have such a closed mindset, though there's a long long way to go.
